RED Movie Review With iFanboy's Special Edition Podcast

Download The MP3 Here

My iFanboy.com pals Conor Kilpatrick and Ron Richards asked me to join then to review the new Bruce Willis film, based on the Warren Ellis Cully Hamner mini series.

Despite a by the numbers plot and simplified spy action, this was a very enjoyable action film. Fans of the comic need to know it bares little resemblance to the Ellis story. If you like the stars Willis, Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Richard Dreyfus, Karl Urban, Brian Cox, and Ernest Borginine, you will not be disappointed. Their breezy performances elevate the material they were given.Think of a senior citizen Ocean's Eleven, combined with The A-Team , and you have RED.

An optimistic 3 out 5 stars.
